Thanks for all the replies...Customs is not a problem in our country UNLESS the item costs over $400 dollars...we do not pay any duties etc on anything up to this amount.
The only problem with our country is our VERY strict quarantine laws.A great aunt from England sent a tiny packet pot pouri(sp?) in a little container last Christmas and IT got stopped in customs thanks the agriculture depatment. We got sent rest of the package but not this .We were offered to pay $60 to have it fumiagted and sent on to us!!!Needless to say we declined!LOL!At this stage they just destroy it .This Aunt knows not to send stuff like that now.
We actually regulary have to order books from America for homeschooling. All book places on line ship internationally without a problem thank goodness or it would be a nighmare to homeschool here!
Off to look for patterns and to ring my best friend with a suggestion for Chrismas presents for her God daughters..( I can't sew she can!),AND she was only asking me for ideas last week.
Thanks for all the help ladies.
